Closer/Funder, Closer/ Funders POSITION SUMMARY The Closing/Funding
Manager is responsible for the leadership and management of timely and
efficient closing and funding of all retail lending loans. Ensures
quality standards, customer service expectations and compliance with
TRID, state, federal and secondary market guidelines, as well as bank
policies. An in-depth knowledge of the Closing Disclosure, including
legal tolerance, change of circumstance and final fees and disbursement.
Monitors team production to ensure performance metrics are met. Provides
day-to-day supervision and guidance to the Closing/Funding employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide Training And Development Opportunities To
the Closer/Funders for team growth. Responsible for closing of employee
loans and loans of a more complex nature (i.e., Construction Loans, Mass
Housing). Coordinate post-closing audit reviews of files before
submission to the Servicing Department. Prepare and review all loan
documents for accuracy, including but not limited to, title review,
insurance (homeowners, flood & title), title commitment and legal
documents, Closing Protection Letter and wire information. Prepare wires
for closing with wire signing authority up to approved limit. Prepare
modification and subordination documents. Review holdback agreements
prior to closing. Resolve daily escalations related to individual loans
and ensure timely communication with internal and external partners and
customers. Coordinates loan closings with all parties in the transaction
including the borrower, Loan officer, Attorney and Branch. Work with
third party vendors to obtain verbal verifications of employment prior
to closing. Preform review of closed loans and track missing documents
and signatures prior to export and shipment to the Loan Servicing
Department Preform a closed loan review of closing packages done by
other closers. E-Record mortgage, equities and modifications through
Simplifile system. Sends required documentation to Servicing to book
loans in DNA system. Assigns loan files, as needed. Must complete BSA,
AML, and other Regulatory and Continuing Education as assigned. Must
adhere to all bank and regulatory policies and procedures specific to
position. Performs additional duties as requested. POSITION

Associates degree or relevant job-specific experience. Minimum of 5
years\' loan closing experience required. Knowledge of LOS Encompass
system. Knowledge of Secondary Market Mortgage guidelines. Ability to
work under pressure of multiple projects and deadlines with a high
degree of attention to detail. Knowledge of TRID Regulations and
requirements.
