Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Segment Risk Specialist to fill an open position with one of our clients in the financial services industry. In this role, the Segment Risk Specialist will support risk management activities by assisting with control testing, risk assessments, and issue remediation efforts. They will collaborate with technology segment risk managers and business partners to strengthen risk awareness, enhance documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Supporting timely and high‑quality completion of control testing and risk assessment activities
Assisting with the identification, analysis, and remediation of risk and control issues
Partnering with business and technology teams to understand processes, controls, and risk impacts
Maintaining and enhancing risk, policy, control, and process documentation
The Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s degree with up to 3 years of risk‑based experience or equivalent transferable experience
Strong attention to detail with proven organizational and analytical skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience or interest in technical writing and documentation
Business and technology aptitude, with a willingness to learn cybersecurity and data management concepts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present issues and requirements
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while effectively prioritizing tasks
