Position Title: Senior IT Database Administrator (Multiple Openings)
Location: Greensboro, NC
Managing databases within the Oracle, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL database technology stack
Managing databases within the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
Troubleshooting data replication and integrity across the enterprise
Performing and tuning along with SQL, PL/SQL, and T‑SQL development
Writing and maintaining technical support documentation for applications
Adhering to security best practices, access control, and security policies
Demonstrating day‑to‑day adherence with change control concepts and practices
Providing 24×7 support on critical systems in an on‑call rotation
Acting as a technical expert and reference point for wider technical queries.
Mentoring other members of the team.
Qualifications
Possess a bachelor’s degree in IT, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Computer Science or related field of study
3 years of experience in Database Administration, Systems Engineering, or closely related field
3 years of experience in:
Managing databases within the Oracle or Microsoft SQL database technology stack
Troubleshooting data replication and integrity
Working on SQL, PL/SQL, or T‑SQL/MSSQL development
Writing technical support documentation for applications
2 years of experience managing cloud database systems
Demonstrated knowledge in scripting and performance tuning
Demonstrated strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
Demonstrated strong math aptitude
Excellent written and oral communication
Experience in learning and performing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
Experience in working independently as well as in a team environment
