The QA Manager develops and maintains quality systems, oversees inspection and testing processes, drives root cause analysis and corrective actions, and partners with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve product reliability and manufacturing performance. The position plays a critical role in fostering a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the organization. What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities) While each day brings new opportunities at Cues, your core responsibilities will be: Manufacturing and Supplier Quality Oversee incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and final product testing for electronic and electromechanical assemblies. Establish quality standards and acceptance criteria for components, subassemblies, and finished products. Monitor production quality metrics and identify trends to drive improvement. Work with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure

meets expectations . Lead supplier corrective actions and quality improvement initiatives. Participate in supplier audits and qualification processes. Quality Management System Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s

Quality Management System (QMS)

in alignment with CUES standards and applicable regulatory

requirements. Ensure documented procedures, work instructions, and quality records are maintained and followed. Lead internal and external quality audits and coordinate corrective actions. Continuous Improvement / Problem Solving Drive initiatives to reduce defects, scrap, and rework in manufacturing processes. Partner with operations and engineering teams on process improvements, yield optimization, and product reliability enhancements. Support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives. Act as the primary quality contact for customers regarding quality concerns and product issues. Manage customer complaints and ensure prompt investigation and resolution. Participate in customer audits and quality reviews. Team Management / KPI Reporting Lead and develop the quality inspection and quality engineering team. Provide training and coaching on quality standards, procedures, and tools. Promote a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Track and report on key quality metrics including: First Pass Yield Cost of Poor Quality Supplier Quality Performance Customer Returns / RMAs Present quality performance updates to leadership and recommend improvement actions. What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education) We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has: Required Experience 8-10 years of experience in industrial assembly, with at least 3-5 years in a team leader or manager role Experience with implementing control plans, FMEA, building quality into the manufacturing process Strong leadership and team development skills Ability to work cross functionally with operations, engineering, and supply chain Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma methodologies Ability to

interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions Strong writer and verbal communication skills Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills in a team-oriented setting. Must have a high level of self-motivation Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities CQE or CQM certification Experience managing supplier quality programs Experience with electronic assembly Education & Certifications Lean / Six Sigma Certification. 0% Travel In office Monday-Friday How we live our culture Our culture is at the center of what we do and, more importantly, who we are.
