Reporting To Solutions Support Manager

Overview As a key member of the ABB HR Employee Lifecycle Team, this HR Analyst will provide general administrative services at the business level to support the approximately 17,000 employees within the US and Puerto Rico. Each day you will perform general administrative activities and showcase your expertise by backing the team in priority or complicated work cases. The work model is Hybrid out of the Cary, NC office. This role contributes to the Employee Life Cycle Team in the United States and Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities

Manage assigned ABB processes related to employee lifecycle management, coordinate SOP Development and Improvement Process, coordinate the ELCM policy review process, and manage the document review process for assigned policies, processes and forms, overall coordination of review process.

Support the Cary Contact Center with more complex employee requests or questions; respond to or manage complex AskHR tickets.

Respond to manager and/or employee queries and manage both incoming and outgoing correspondence for the business.

Act as local support for all administration activities.

Maintain records/databases/filing systems/archives in electronic and/or hard copy format.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 3+ years of HR experience and 2+ years in HR operations or equivalent combination of education and relevant HR operations experience.

Knowledge of HR processes including but not limited to background check, drug screen, and policy review programs.

Experience with SOP development and improvement processes.

Deep knowledge of legal and compliance requirements regarding background check and drug testing programs.

Superior Microsoft Office Suite skills.

Ability to understand and execute project requirements.

Strong analytical thinking and methodical problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Efficiently prioritize work and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data correlation skills.

Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Structured thinker who can resolve problems at hand efficiently.

Self‑directed and a collaborative team member.

Excellent English language skills (written and oral).

While base salary is determined by qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $XX and $XX annually and is bonus eligible.

Choice between two medical plan options: a PPO plan called the Copay Plan or a High Deductible Health Plan with a Health Savings Account called the High Deductible Plan.

Choice between two dental plan options: Core and Core Plus.
