We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our property management team! The ideal candidate will have
at least 1 year of property management or leasing experience , a
background in affordable housing , and strong proficiency in
ResMan
software. This role supports the Property Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations while ensuring exceptional service for both residents and prospects.
What You’ll Do:
Assist the Property Manager with daily operations, leasing, renewals, and resident relations.
Communicate effectively with residents and prospects.
Utilize ResMan to manage resident records, applications, lease files, and financial reporting.
Support rent collection, payment processing, and delinquency follow-up.
Handle resident inquiries and resolve concerns in a professional, timely manner.
Help coordinate maintenance requests, inspections, and vendor services.
Step in to lead the office when the Property Manager is unavailable.
What We’re Looking For:
At least 1 year of property management or leasing experience (required)
Affordable housing experience (required)
ResMan software experience (required)
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A proactive, professional, and dependable team player
Bilingual is a plus
