Property & Casualty Insurance Risk Placement Specialist
to join our growing team.
The Property & Casualty Insurance Risk Placement Specialists primary responsibility is the marketing of new or renewal accounts through negotiation with underwriters to obtain optimal coverage and pricing for our commercial insurance clients.
How You Will Contribute
Marketing policies for each account generating over $5,000 in revenue
Data entry of information from the application onto the carrier portal
Determine the appropriate insurance markets to be approached for assigned accounts
Obtain and analyze quotations and declinations from various insurance companies
Negotiate pricing and coverage terms with underwriters and wholesalers
Prepare high quality and accurate proposals for presentations
Monitor, identify, and develop new markets and new opportunities
Build and maintain carrier relationships by participating in carrier meetings and related activities
Other duties may be assigned
Licenses and Certifications:
Maintain Property & Casualty Insurance License
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
Bachelor’s Degree
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Demonstrates clear knowledge of commercial insurance coverage and standard industry offerings
Excellent inter-personal and relationship building abilities
1-3 years’ experience in similar position (preferred)
