About The Role This position is 100% onsite at the Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility (CFFF) in Columbia, SC. As an LEU+ Construction Superintendent you will join our team and work on our growing project portfolios. You will support the guidance, coordination, and scheduling of construction activities on the project construction site. You will report to the LEU+ Construction Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain excellent relationships with CFFF partners, construction contractor, subcontractors and construction regulators.

Ensure that all work is conducted in a safe manner in compliance with safety, and quality.

Help develop, monitor and update the project schedule. Ensure subcontractors comply with the project master schedule.

Use the project master schedule to help create detailed look‑ahead schedules with subcontractors.

Help develop recovery strategies when the project schedule or budget are in jeopardy.

Plan, oversee and approve the work of contractor and subcontractors on the project including confirming methods of construction, workforce levels, materials, tools and equipment, rentals and work schedules.

Assume responsibility for evaluating productivity of trades and subcontractors, efficient use of materials and equipment and contractual performance of the project.

Ensure trades personnel complete all necessary training in areas of safety, quality assurance, technical qualifications, equipment operation and owner‑specified requirements.

Ensure the project is constructed in compliance with drawings, specifications, Field Work Packages (FWPs), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and project schedule and budget.

Communicate with CFFF and contractor representatives, design engineers, consultants, and other contractors.

Ensure the work is carried out observing QA Programs and project quality guidelines.

Maintain appropriate field documentation including safety records, daily progress reports, training records, T&E and rental records, workforce reports, owner support requests, and FWP documents.

Participate in review of work instructions, field engineering activities.

Verify as‑built conditions.

Qualifications

Education: a technical college diploma or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience.

5 years of construction and subcontractor supervision experience in the nuclear industry.

Experience overseeing a construction project.

Knowledge of all aspects of construction such as technology, equipment, methods, trade agreements and jurisdiction, engineering, cost control, scheduling and safety requirements.

Ability to read cost reports and comfortable working in radiological work areas.

Can hold and maintain a Security Clearance at a US nuclear facility.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $65/hour to $70/hour.
