This role supports clients by ensuring benefits programs are administered accurately, aligned with strategic objectives, and compliant with all regulatory requirements. You’ll partner with internal teams and client contacts to deliver seamless execution, creative solutions, and a superior client experience.

Responsibilities What You’ll Do / Your Impact
Client Partnership & Service Excellence
Serve as a strategic advisor to clients by providing proactive guidance, data analytics, program analysis, and clear education on complex benefit topics
Develop and execute client stewardship programs while strengthening relationships through consistent communication, social engagement, and service excellence
Collaborate with Client Services to develop and present tailored proposals addressing client and prospect needs, including carrier and emerging product solutions
Operational & Compliance Excellence
Support and execute Alera Group initiatives, policies, and programs while working toward organizational goals and objectives
Follow insurance standards, protect confidential information, adhere to confidentiality agreements, and maintain the highest ethical standards
Build strong internal relationships across Alera Group, valuing collaboration, accountability, and teamwork to deliver consistent client outcomes
Growth & Retention
Manage and grow a designated book of business through marketing, claims support, retention efforts, and account development in partnership with service teams
Drive new revenue through cross‑selling, account rounding, referrals, and effective communication of Alera Group capabilities
Foster an inclusive, motivating retention culture by achieving individual goals, supporting community engagement, and contributing to ongoing business growth
Qualifications What You Bring
Required
Manage a book of business of $500,000+ in annual revenue
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present effectively in group and one‑on‑one settings using multiple formats (email, presentations, data visuals)
Proficient in computer systems and office equipment; able to read and understand online company manuals and insurance documentation
Obtain and maintain a Colorado Life and Health Insurance License
Preferred
Strong technical insurance knowledge with the ability to stay current on industry developments and best practices
Experience working closely with insurance carriers and leveraging them as strategic and knowledge resources

Additional Information Salary range is $150,000–$175,000 per year.
