Healthcare Staffing Sales Representative

Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation:
Base Salary ~$50,000 - $70,000 (Negotiable) + Aggressive Commission Structure
Position Overview We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused
Healthcare Staffing Sales Representative
to develop and grow partnerships with nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, and hospital systems. This individual will play a key role in expanding our footprint by providing staffing solutions for full‑time, part‑time, and per diem nursing needs. This is a high‑impact, revenue‑generating role ideal for someone who has successfully built a book of business in healthcare staffing and thrives in a fast‑paced, consultative sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities with nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), hospitals, and healthcare systems.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Directors of Nursing (DONs), Nurse Managers, HR and Staffing Coordinators.
Develop home care cases.
Turn patient referrals or leads into active, staffed, and revenue‑generating cases.
Present and position staffing solutions tailored to each facility’s needs.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close and ongoing account management.
Develop and grow a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Partner internally with recruiting teams to ensure successful fulfillment of client needs.
Track activity, pipeline, and performance metrics in CRM.
Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and healthcare staffing challenges.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in healthcare staffing sales or related healthcare sales.
Proven track record of building and managing a book of business.
Established relationships within nursing homes, SNFs, or hospital systems preferred.
Strong understanding of healthcare staffing models (full‑time, contract, per diem).
Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
Self‑starter with a hunter mentality and strong closing ability.
Comfortable working in a commission‑driven environment.
