Senior Labor Relations Specialist

Job Description Oversees the execution and delivery of labor relations – facilitates the implementation of labor agreements, analyzes collective bargaining agreements, provides appropriate contract interpretation guidance, monitors compliance with labor relations practices and standards.

Job Responsibility

•Prepares and maintains tools necessary for labor contract negotiations on an ongoing basis

•Gathers and reviews information for all request for information related to labor contract administration and negotiations.

•Functions as the liaison with all shared services departments to gather necessary information for labor contract administration and negotiations

•Participates in all aspects of labor contract administration and negotiations strategy

•Prepares powerpoint and other reports for senior leadership regarding labor contract administration and negotiations

•Coordinates joint labor management partnership work, including leading committee meetings, planning agendas for meetings, follow up with union and management

•Coordinates contract implementation, including leading implementation meetings, preparing and updating implementation reports, and follow up with various stakeholders to ensure implementation

•Conducts training and education on labor contracts

•Provides guidance on labor relations practices and collective bargaining agreement interpretation

Job Qualification

•Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

•3-5 years of relevant experience, required.
