About the Role We are seeking an experienced
Construction Superintendent
to oversee field activities for upcoming geotechnical site investigation work at two project locations:
Port Site:
Approximately 15 days (March 15–31, 2026)
Plant Site:
Approximately 6 months (April–September 2026)
This role provides on-site leadership, ensures contractor compliance with project requirements, and supports safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution of early construction activities.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and enforce a strong
safety culture , ensuring site safety programs, site rules, and security procedures are fully implemented.
Verify contractor performance related to
schedule, cost control, quality, and workforce levels .
Ensure contractor work is aligned with the
Project Execution Plan (PEP) , design documents, and project standards.
Confirm that contractors provide accurate inputs for
scheduling, progress updates, cost estimates, and forecasting .
Review and validate
daily work plans, priorities, and productivity .
Support
value creation efforts
and recommend actions to optimize labor productivity and cost performance.
Verify proper execution of
quality management activities , including non‑conformance reporting and as‑built documentation.
Coordinate
survey control , ensuring accurate horizontal and vertical measurements for all site work.
Support Project Controls with schedule updates, material cost forecasting, change management reviews, and field data.
Validate contractor equipment selection to ensure suitability for project needs.
Participate in
site safety tours , inspections, and coordination with client representatives and third parties.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a
Construction Superintendent ,
Field Superintendent , or similar leadership role in heavy civil, mining, industrial, oil & gas, or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of
field construction , geotechnical work, site operations, and contractor oversight.
Demonstrated ability to uphold strict
HSE , quality, and compliance standards.
Strong communication and coordination skills with contractors, project teams, and client representatives.
Ability to work in remote, field-based environments for extended durations.
