High School Diploma Four (4) years of professional, full‑time professional experience in property management or a related field. Education may substitute for experience on a year‑for‑year basis. Duties And Responsibilities
Enter, maintain, and remove all tangible and real property (State and Cooperative Agreement) records in the system of record (e.g., FLAIR/PALM). Track and monitor all property over $5,000 in value, and all under $5,000 as determined by the State Quartermaster, in system of record and in a master Excel spreadsheet. Issue tags and tag numbers to each piece of property, and fill out proper documentation (FNG Form 4 and FNG Form 4A). Coordinate with Directorates and Armory Managers in the transfer of property or removal/disposition of surplus equipment; include tracking and submission to the property board for approval. Donate surplus property or equipment no longer needed to local agencies or non‑profit organizations. Process the annual depreciation report. Review all Purchase Orders between Armories, Camp Blanding and St. Augustine locations. Make corrections to purchase orders and ensure correct codes are entered into MyFloridaMarket. Request proper paperwork and information concerning Purchase Orders and Property between SQM Purchasing, Finance and Accounting, CFMO, Directorates and Armory Managers. Print inventory reports for distribution among four positions and oversee completion; enter inventory dates for each tag number for all armories. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Knowledge of property management principles and practices. Ability to evaluate property management activities and recommend corrective action. Ability to utilize problem‑solving techniques. Ability to develop and/or maintain a complex property and inventory control system. Ability to move, transport and/or deliver property. Ability to supervise people. Ability to prioritize workload. Ability to develop various reports and inventory data. Ability to manage people. Ability to analyze needs for equipment and supplies. Ability to formulate policies and procedures.
