This is a hybrid role and open to candidates in Salt Lake City, UT or within commuting distance of our South Salt Lake City headquarters.
PDQ is hiring a Senior Salesforce Administrator to own and continuously improve our Salesforce platform. You will work with the Senior Director of Business Systems and partner closely with Sales leadership, Customer Success, and RevOps to define platform priorities, design scalable solutions, and ensure the system reliably supports the business.
This role is for someone who thinks like an architect and operates like an owner. You will help shape and evolve the platform roadmap, establish governance standards, and raise the bar for how Salesforce is built and maintained at PDQ.
What you'll do Platform Ownership
Own day‑to‑day Salesforce platform reliability: proactive maintenance, security reviews, release updates, and issue resolution
Identify and reduce technical debt; replace fragile implementations with durable, scalable solutions
Establish and enforce governance standards for configuration changes, testing, and deployments
Respond to user support tickets with urgency and sound judgment
Design scalable, maintainable solutions that reflect Salesforce best practices
Evaluate and communicate tradeoffs between speed and long‑term maintainability
Translate business requirements into well‑scoped, implementable solutions
Push back on requests that introduce platform risk or undermine scalability
Stakeholder Partnership
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps to define platform roadmap and priorities
Communicate platform changes, risks, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
Manage large‑scale rollouts and implementations with structured change management
Documentation & Enablement
Build and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture records
Support user onboarding, training, and sustained platform adoption
Improve data quality through governance frameworks and automation
What you bring Must Have
Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator certification
Proven experience administering and improving complex Salesforce orgs
Deep understanding of Salesforce configuration: flows, permissions, roles, profiles, OWD, sharing rules, and data management
Ability to read and understand Apex and custom code, sufficient to assess risk, collaborate with developers, and know when to escalates
Experience establishing governance, testing standards, and change management practices
Strong track record translating ambiguous business requirements into scoped, scalable solutions
Clear communicator with both technical peers and non‑technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
Experience with CPQ or subscription billing platforms
Familiarity with HubSpot, Tray.io, Salto, LeanData, or Snowflake
Experience contributing to or managing a Salesforce platform roadmap
