RESIDENCE ASSISTANT DIRECTOR – Residential Setting – Full-Time (40 hours per week) – $50,000

Our team of professionals, doctors, nurses, therapists, and support staff are dedicated to assisting the community in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of mental illness.

What You Need to Apply:
Master Degree preferred or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health-related field required
Supervisory experience required
Residential experience preferred
Knowledge of community resources and agencies
Possession of a valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean five-year driving record that meets organizational standards and qualifies for insurance coverage.
Position Overview: As a Residence Coordinator, you will support the daily operations of four A+ Group Homes and help ensure each residence functions smoothly and in alignment with the agency's mission and regulatory standards. In this role, you will provide supervision, guidance, and ongoing education to staff, while actively participating in clinical reviews, recovery planning, and maintaining documentation that meets all compliance requirements.
You will contribute to quality improvement efforts, assist with staff training, and oversee risk management and safety practices within the residences. The position also includes participation in the on‑call rotation and the ability to provide direct support during emergencies when needed.
In addition, you will advocate for residents, collaborate with treatment providers, and develop activities that promote meaningful community integration. You will also design and implement treatment interventions that help residents progress toward their individual recovery goals.
What Does This Position Look Like? In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of A+ Group Homes, ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting the needs and well‑being of residents. You will supervise staff, assist with training, and monitor the quality of services provided. You will also help develop plans that promote residents' recovery and foster their successful integration into the community.
Your responsibilities include being available during emergencies, providing coverage when needed, and advocating for residents' rights and overall welfare. You will collaborate closely with treatment providers and help design activities that build social skills and community connections. Additionally, you will support residents in achieving their recovery goals by contributing to the development of meaningful, person‑centered interventions.
Demonstrates competency in delivering Motivational Interviewing (MI), effectively engaging individuals served through engagement, assessment, and intervention.
