Release Specialist The Release Specialist provides essential support to the Collections team by managing key administrative tasks, including preparing lien releases, processing liens, handling requests for information, and performing additional duties as assigned by the Collections Manager. This role requires strong accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, as it interacts regularly with internal departments and external customers. Strong clerical, computing, and data‑entry skills are also critical for success.
Responsibilities
Prepare the majority of lien releases
Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) to ensure NTOs are accurate
Train in all facets of collections
Provide coverage when fellow Release Specialists or the NTO Administrator are on PTO
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Collections Manager
Qualifications
Experience with Florida Construction Lien Law is a plus
Intermediate Excel skills required
State of Florida Notary designation highly desired
Strong attention to detail
Professional oral and written communication skills
Key Attributes
Ability to negotiate and liaise effectively
High attention to detail
Ability to recognize and interpret complex issues
Ability to collaborate across the organization to achieve goals
