Salesforce Performance Tester
to support a large-scale initiative within the federal technology sector. The
Salesforce Performance Tester
will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and responsiveness of enterprise Salesforce environments across Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
Responsibilities
Develop performance test strategies tailored to Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud applications.
Build and execute performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner.
Simulate user loads for Salesforce UI, Experience Cloud portals, API integrations, and batch/async processes.
Validate system response times, throughput, latency, governor limits, platform events, and async queue responses while documenting performance defects with detailed reproduction steps and logs.
Capture, analyze, and report performance metrics related to Apex, SOQL queries, flows, REST/SOAP APIs, and LWC components.
Evaluate integration performance across external APIs, AWS/Snowflake interactions, and authentication workflows.
Collaborate with developers, architects, and cross‑functional teams to optimize performance across code, configurations, integrations, caching, and monitoring.
Validate scalability for high‑traffic portals, high‑volume APIs, seasonal surges, and enterprise releases.
Conduct peer reviews of test cases and testing documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant certification preferred.
8+ years of hands‑on performance testing experience, including at least 4 years dedicated to Salesforce performance testing.
Experience supporting large, complex Salesforce projects with proficiency in Salesforce navigation and terminology.
Expertise in QA test management for both functional and non‑functional testing, including UI, backend, component, and integration test suites.
Hands‑on experience developing automation test scripts from scratch.
Proficiency with tools such as LoadRunner (Performance Center), Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Jenkins, and GitHub.
Experience creating testing documentation including Test Summary Reports and traceability matrices.
Background analyzing performance reports to identify application, infrastructure, and network bottlenecks.
Experience performance‑testing Salesforce‑to‑Snowflake ETL/ELT pipelines.
Knowledge of REST, SOAP, and GraphQL API performance testing.
Experience integrating automated performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to various audiences.
Compensation
Salary range: $130,000-$140,000 annual salary (depending on experience)
