a well-established commercial construction firm known for delivering complex ground-up and renovation projects, is seeking a

Construction Superintendent

to join their team across Westchester County and New York City project sites. This role leads on-site construction operations and plays a critical role in keeping projects safe, on schedule, and built to high quality standards.

What You’ll Do as the Construction Superintendent

Oversee daily field operations on commercial construction projects from early sitework through interior completion

Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners to maintain efficient workflow

Manage the construction schedule and ensure sequencing aligns with project milestones

Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with all site policies

Review construction drawings, specifications, and submittals to confirm accurate installation

Monitor jobsite productivity, logistics, and manpower allocation

Identify field issues early and collaborate with project teams to resolve conflicts

Perform routine quality inspections across all phases of construction

Maintain daily reports, field documentation, and photo progress updates

Communicate jobsite progress, risks, and solutions with project management and stakeholders

Must‑Haves as the Construction Superintendent

10+ years of commercial construction experience

Experience working for a commercial general contractor

Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple trades

Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and building systems

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage field teams

Strong problem‑solving and communication skills

Nice‑to‑Haves as the Construction Superintendent

Experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects

Experience working on projects in New York City or Westchester County

Familiarity with large-scale renovations or occupied building environments

Experience coordinating MEP systems and building envelope work

Our Client Offers

Competitive base salary typically ranging from $165,000 to $185,000 depending on experience
