Job Overview
Company: Shawn Malone Excavating Inc. Salary/Pay Rate: $140,000 to $180,000 per year (based on experience). Location: Hannibal, NY (Travel Required). Job/Employment Type: Full Time. Schedule: Monday - Friday, Overtime. Project Scope: Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Government/Federal. Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: OSHA 10 Training. The Opportunity
You will serve as a high-level field leader, directing complex structural concrete and excavation operations across diverse site classifications. This role empowers you to command advanced equipment and manage large-scale utility installs for a company that invests in the best technology. How You Will Make an Impact
Directed daily field operations to ensure structural concrete and utility installations meet precise engineering specifications. Supervised on-site crews by delegating tasks and maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety compliance. Operated a wide array of heavy equipment to execute grading, excavation, and structural site prep with maximum efficiency. Interpreted complex blueprints and site plans to accurately lay out work and prevent costly project re-runs. Monitored project timelines and material logistics to keep high-stakes civil and federal contracts on schedule. Strengthened team safety culture by enforcing OSHA standards and conducting regular field inspections on all active sites. Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in structural concrete and commercial site excavation. Proven expertise in operating multiple types of heavy equipment and managing field employees. Demonstrated ability to read construction plans, perform site layout, and track project progress effectively. Extensive experience in utility installation and general civil sitework. Absolute willingness to travel to various project assignments as required by the business. Preferred Qualifications & Experience
High School Diploma or GED. Technical proficiency with GPS-guided equipment and layout technology. Prior experience managing government or federal infrastructure projects.
