Overview and Responsibilities Paramount Global Streaming, driven by a team dedicated to leading the future of media and technology, seeks a Sr. Financial Analyst. The role focuses primarily on Paramount+, encompassing content from CBS, Showtime, BET, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Smithsonian Channel, TV Land, VH1, Paramount Pictures, and more. Reporting directly to the Director, FP&A, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of forecasts and budgets, track performance, manage monthly revenue and operating expenses, and leverage analysis to drive informed decision‑making.
Responsible for creating and maintaining complex financial models supporting the budgeting, forecasting, and expansion of Paramount+ International ad revenue, including inventory and consumption pattern projections, partner forecasts, and new region expansion opportunities.
Assist Accounting in monthly/quarterly close: preparation of accruals, reconciliation and variance analysis of forecast versus actual results, and order‑level reconciliation.
Collaborate with Data Insights, Yield Management, and Business Development/Content & Strategy teams to identify growth opportunities, evaluate advertising revenue per user, explore partnerships, and review content projects.
Create and update executive reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, including pacing reports and decks highlighting Paramount+ ad business performance.
Develop strategic value‑added analyses on advertising growth, expense optimization, and core business metrics to drive better decisions.
Respond to ad‑hoc requests and analyses frequently.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 4+ years in FP&A, finance, or equivalent quantitative roles.
Basic accounting knowledge.
High proficiency in Excel, experience preparing complex financial models, and manipulating large datasets.
Strong communicator able to adapt messaging to diverse audiences and partner across functions.
Experience in a highly analytical environment.
Strong work ethic with acute attention to detail.
Ability to work quickly and precisely on multiple projects concurrently.
Additional Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high‑pressure environment.
Strong organizational skills with multitasking capability.
Experience with P&L management and forecasting.
Prior experience in digital media, especially subscription‑based roles, is highly desirable.
Additional Information Hiring Salary Range:
$85,000 – $100,000.
