Job Type : Contract Workplace : Dallas, Texas (Onsite) Summary: The Analyst, IT Business Analysis will actively elicit and document business requirements from business stakeholders, analyze as-is and to-be processes, and contribute to the identification of technology solutions. This role will facilitate requirements gathering sessions, often independently, with business users to define current state business processes, identify pain points, and map out the desired future state. This may involve travel to Client's manufacturing facilities or conducting sessions virtually. The Analyst will translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements and collaborate with IT teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, and a growing understanding of business processes and IT solutions within the manufacturing and supply chain domains. Detailed Description:

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: Elicit and Document Requirements: Independently lead and facilitate requirements gathering sessions with diverse business stakeholders, applying various elicitation techniques to uncover implicit needs and document comprehensive as-is and to-be processes. Process Analysis: Critically evaluate and analyze complex business processes, employing techniques (e.g., process mapping, value stream mapping, simulation) to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks. Solution Exploration: Collaborate with IT teams to explore potential technology solutions that address business needs and align with IT strategy. Requirements Traceability: Ensure clear traceability of requirements throughout the solution development lifecycle. Project Support: Actively contribute to IT projects by supporting project planning, execution, and monitoring activities. Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies. Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure alignment and understanding of requirements and solutions. Documentation: Develop and maintain meticulous documentation, including detailed business requirements documents, process flows, use case diagrams, data models, solution specifications, and user guides. Ensure documentation is accessible, accurate, and up-to-date. Required Knowledge/Skills/Competencies: University degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Business Administration, Commerce More than 5 years of IT or business-related experience. Business Analysis Skills: Demonstrated ability to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements. Process Modeling: Proficiency in process modeling techniques and tools. Experience in the

manufacturing

industry is an asset. Project management experience would be considered an asset. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical audiences. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders. IT Knowledge: Understanding of IT systems and technologies relevant to manufacturing and supply chain operations.
