Description General program information and/or position overview: In support of the Critical Infrastructure Protection team, the intelligence analyst shall communicate effectively orally and in writing, including the capability to convey complex operational, technical, and political‑military concepts; develop and effectively employ multimedia presentations to this end. The analyst evaluates, interprets, and integrates all‑source intelligence and open source information into top‑level assessments, applies knowledge of advanced research methodologies and analytical techniques to complex work assignments, and produces tailored intelligence products in response to customer requirements. The analyst prepares executive‑level briefings for senior Navy audiences and collaborates with collectors, senior analysts, and other experts to facilitate reporting and guidance. The role requires detailed knowledge of the Intelligence Community and Navy intelligence operations, production processes, and security requirements for SCIF‑based IT systems.

Primary Responsibilities Incumbent serves as an intelligence analyst in the Critical Infrastructure Protection Division at the Office of Naval Intelligence. The analyst must be an experienced professional capable of performing highly complex research and coordination within ONI and with DoD and IC partners, and work within a team to assist the SME and other analysts in formulating intelligence products. The analyst conducts comprehensive research that results in unique fusion analyses supporting Critical Infrastructure Protection.

Collect, analyze, interpret, evaluate, and integrate complex data from multiple sources and prepare or revise intelligence products.

Maintain databases for intelligence assignments and produce technical or operational intelligence.

Identify intelligence gaps.

Use initiative and resourcefulness to develop new methods, criteria, or policies.

Resolve conflicts, implement policy, and ensure assignment completion.

Track, analyze, and report on the location and operations of assigned Vessels of Interest with minimal guidance.

Maintain tactical awareness of assigned VOIs.

Conduct all‑source analysis of threats to critical infrastructure.

Represent TAC/Oni within the Intelligence Community and customer forums.

Identify critical intelligence gaps and collaborate with other analysts.

Assist in representing CIP requirements at appropriate DOD and IC working groups.

Basic Qualifications The individual filling the position is expected to perform as a full-performance level analyst and possesses the following experience and/or educational qualifications.

Specialized training in ESRI, GALE, ARCGIS.

Credentialed subject‑matter expert or recognized specialist in relevant field.

Familiarity with GALE analytic tools.

Must possess at least a TOP SECRET Special Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance and a successful counterintelligence polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications

Foreign language proficiency.

Master’s degree.

Pay Range Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
