In this role, you will review and comment on underwriting and reviewing the issuance of securities to customers.THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKEThe Multifamily Senior Underwriter – Advisor role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities: Advise on potential risks and costs involved with providing services to a customer.Analyze the risks and costs of a lending decision and make recommendations on process improvement related to decision process.Advise on process related to issuance of the securities or other financial loans to the customer.THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAMMinimum Required Experience6 years relevant experience working in multifamily commercial real estate industryComprehensive knowledge of multifamily commercial mortgage underwriting including property financial analysis, borrower credit, and market analysisDemonstrated experience in underwriting and structuring commercial loans for multifamily housingStrong credit and financial analysis skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of DUS/GSE multifamily underwriting guidelinesDesired ExperienceBachelor’s degree or equivalentExperience evaluating businesses, projects, budgets, and other financial entities or instruments to determine viability, stability, and performanceEvaluation of borrower/organizational structuresRisk Assessment/mitigation and relationship management skillsAbility to collaborate with team members and key strategic partnersExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work in a fast paced, results driven environmentMultifamily customer and market insightsDemonstrated experience with a range of multifamily property typesAdvanced Excel analysis and/or modelingStrong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insightsGovernance and compliance experience including creating policies, evaluating compliance, developing data governanceFamiliar with Sales ForceMultifamily Risk - Underwriting - AdvisorTarget Pay Range: $141,000 - $184,000#LI-NL1 - HybridQualificationsEducation:Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)The future is what you make it to be.
