Product Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior)Company:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Supply Chain Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) is seeking a Product Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) to lead and support Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) supply chain Warehousing and Logistics products in Renton, WA; Everett, WA; or Seattle, WA.The Product Specialist needs to collaborate with business and product stakeholders to define and document the ‘business need’ into clear and precise requirements with testable acceptance criteria. The role then partners with the IT Delivery organization to deliver a solution that meets the business needs.Position Responsibilities:Leads efforts to define and document detailed business requirementsLearns warehouse fulfillment and supply chain logistics business flows, processes and productsFacilitates regular requirement gathering and design sessions with the business product owners/users and communicates expectations to the IT development teamUses a variety of techniques such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, site visits, use cases, scenarios and business process flowsNegotiates solutions that satisfy requirements and deliver business value while ensuring consistency and security standardsIdentifies process improvement opportunities by reviewing existing processes and dataUses a variety of techniques to document and map complex business processes to ensure requirements are clear to help deploy the right solution with first time quality (ie. epic/capability/feature/user story, Unified Modeling Language (UML) models)Ensures requirements are testable and traceablePartners with the IT delivery team throughout the project to ensure expectations are metServes as liaison between the business product team and the IT delivery team to resolve any issuesDevelops and executes test cases to validate the requirementsWorks to develop strong relationships with business customers, IT, Infrastructure, vendors and partnersMonitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions and escalations as neededBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience in business requirements and analysis on teams and projects that involve cross-functional and/or cross-business domains with management interfaceExperience capturing product requirements with a clear focus on real business needs and delivering measurable valueExperience creating diagrams and workflowsExperience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile MethodologiesExperience with Supply ChainPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor’s degree: Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or relatedExperience with Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or similar WMS packagesExperience working across broad processes and architectural landscapesExperience with organization skills to effectively work in cross-functional, multi-level environment with shifting priorities and requirementsConflict Of Interest:Successful Candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict Of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
