AYR Wellness’ Sales Supervisor is accountable for managing the dispensary’s sales floor in cooperation with the Assistant Manager and Lead Budtender(s). The role includes opening/closing the store, managing breaks, controlling the flow of patients, responding to patient questions and concerns, assisting budtenders, ensuring cash controls are executed consistently, focusing on patient care/customer service, employee engagement and driving profitability through a positive patient experience. The Sales Lead Supervisor must educate the team, inspire operational efficiency, and deliver effective coaching. The Sales Lead Supervisor reports to the Dispensary Store Manager. Executes

Maintain all aspects of dispensary operations in strict compliance with Department of Health, municipal and state legal regulations. All opening/closing procedures, including cash accounting procedures and end‑of‑day reporting. Cash handling standard operating procedures, including register checks to ensure no variances between cash actual and POS software. Ensure dispensary operations are prepared for service and patients. Oversee the sales floor to ensure a positive patient experience. Identify and address employee issues on a timely basis; document appropriately in the Accountability Log and inform the Dispensary Store Manager of any concerns regarding employee performance management. Informs & Educates

Team by executing Product Knowledge Training to ensure the team is well‑educated on the PA Medical Marijuana program, fundamentals of cannabis, and our entire menu of products. Onboard and train new hires in accordance with company standards. Routines Daily

Opening and closing the dispensary according to Opening/Closing Procedures Guides. Host one‑minute meetings/team huddles to inform the team about promos, new products, updates to ops and announcements. Ensure the cleaning checklist is completed consistently and all COVID‑19 protocols are met. Manage the sales floor, ensuring a positive patient experience. Manage online orders/curbside reservations in an organized and timely manner. Provide sales floor observations, coaching/feedback to budtenders on communication, engagement with patients, and product recommendations. Maintain store presentation in terms of visual assets and cleanliness. Address and resolve patient concerns. Maintain pride in the appearance of the store, ensuring all areas, including restrooms, are consistently clean, safe, and guest‑ready. Weekly

Conduct tech sweep to ensure all technology is working properly and contact IT if repairs are needed. Ensure the visitor log is fully filled out consistently with all necessary verifications provided. Qualifications

Must stay current and adhere to all policies and regulations of the state cannabis agency. Must meet age requirement as outlined by state cannabis agency. Able to pass all background checks as required by state cannabis agency. Able to accommodate scheduling that may include varied shifts, weekends, and holidays. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Education

High school diploma/GED required. Experience

1‑3 years. Prior customer service experience in a hospitality, pharmacy, customer services or retail environment. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude)

No direct reports, but leads project teams. Working conditions

Work is primarily performed in a dispensary setting; the working area may be odorous at times and loud due to fans and filtration systems, fluctuating between cold and warm temperatures. Involves frequent contact with staff, vendors, and customers. Work may include dealing with law enforcement and occasional State inspectors. Physical requirements

Frequent communication with customers and/or caregivers regarding medical conditions and symptoms; must be able to exchange accurate information about product offerings. Frequently operate computer/POS system and other standard office equipment such as printers, phones, and photocopy machines. Remain in a stationary position when checking in customers or operating the register. Constantly move and transport dispensary products/totes up to 30 lbs. throughout the dispensary. Ability to twist, turn, bend, stand, and walk as required to perform duties associated with functioning as a dispensary agent. Equal Opportunity Employer
