What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Drive growth across all customer accounts in the Mid‑Atlantic region, focusing on developing new OEM and machine builder relationships
Collaborate with internal teams and distributors to influence purchasing decisions and meet sales targets
Execute disciplined selling processes including account planning and opportunity management
Educate customers on the value of products and guide them to customized solutions
Regularly report market conditions and represent the company at trade shows and events
What is Required (Qualifications)
BA/BS in Industrial Technologies, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
Minimum of 3+ years of outside technical sales experience, preferably in motion control
Strong mechanical aptitude and product knowledge related to motors, drives, and controls
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in the automation and motion control industry
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales funnel management
Strong negotiation skills with a focus on ROI-based solution selling
Previous experience working with OEMs and distributors
Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored to technical and executive audiences
