New Orleans, LA

territory in this unique community‑based opportunity. Starting salary is

$75,000

per year with an earning potential of a six‑figure income after 5 years of successful service as an Account Executive/University Development Counselor.

New hire training will be held in‑person at our Phoenix, AZ campus.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and execution: consistently identify and implement event/activity plans for your territory, build awareness of our online academic programs for education, healthcare and business, and drive inquiry generation. Shape high‑impact partnerships and execute daily work through informational presentations, calls and emails, iterating as needed to maximize value.

Partner and influencer: use your passion for serving others to provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families and partners. Champion the GCE mission by promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth through in‑person, phone or email.

Heart and Hustle: remote role with ambitious targets. Work independently, use critical thinking skills to support prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process and guide them toward a successful online learning experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required. No delinquent or default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report. If in a rehabilitation program, your credit report must reflect that you are current, not delinquent, on your payments.

Outstanding time‑management skills. Wear many hats; prioritize competing priorities even while traveling.

Clear communication skills. Explain just about anything to anyone and communicate comfortably in person, in writing and on the phone. Demonstrate well‑developed listening skills.

Self‑motivation and drive to succeed. Volunteer for new challenges without waiting to be asked. Take ownership of time spent with Grand Canyon University students and make a difference.

High emotional intelligence. Coach a diverse range of Grand Canyon University students with unique circumstances; demonstrate empathy.

Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and a flexible schedule for extensive travel in your territory. Clean driving record and ability to use personal vehicle.

Computer literacy. Use digital tools to execute your work and stay accountable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
