Customer Support Specialist

Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Overview We're hiring a Customer Support Specialist to support external customers through phone, email, and chat. This role focuses on delivering timely, accurate, and empathetic support while building strong product knowledge and meeting performance metrics in a fast‑paced contact center environment. You'll be assisting professional end users, including law enforcement and legal professionals, with questions related to hardware, software, and training solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain subject matter expertise in company processes, systems, and products

Resolve customer issues via phone, email, and chat by identifying root causes and providing clear solutions

Accurately document all customer interactions following established communication procedures and guidelines

Use CRM tools to manage cases and ensure proper follow‑up and resolution

Meet individual and team performance metrics related to call handling, case management, quality, and customer satisfaction

Provide feedback and suggestions for process or performance improvements to leadership

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)

1‑2 years of customer support or contact center experience

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Familiarity with CRM and call center software

Ability to multitask, problem‑solve, and work efficiently with minimal supervision

Strong active listening, conflict resolution, and customer empathy skills

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

2+ years of multichannel customer support experience (phone, chat, email) in a fast‑paced environment

Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, MS Dynamics, or similar tools

Experience with contact center software (e.g., InContact or equivalent)

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, AZ.

Pay and Benefits Pay range: $23.00 – $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
