Job Title: Summer Camp Counselor
Location: Brevard County, FL – Multiple Locations
Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Seasonal | Summer Camp Hours (Daytime Shifts)

Brevard County Parks & Recreation is hiring energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic Camp Counselors to help create a safe, engaging, and memorable summer camp experience for children in our community!
If you enjoy working with kids and love recreational activities, this is a great entry-level opportunity to gain hands‑on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and engage children in daily camp activities
Assist with recreational games, sports, arts & crafts, and group activities
Ensure the safety and well‑being of all campers
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured environment
Support camp leaders with daily operations
Perform related duties as required
Requirements
Must be available for the entire assignment (May 18th – August 8th)
Must be 16 years of age or older
Minimum experience in childcare, babysitting, volunteering, or similar roles
Entry‑level knowledge of recreational activities
Reliable transportation
Willingness to submit to a drug screening and background check
Ability to work outdoors in Florida summer conditions
