
Parts Advisor

Description
This is a training role to become a fully fledged parts advisor in the future. You will start out performing a variety of tasks as needed as you train and learn about the brand and company. As a parts advisor you will assist technicians and customers in purchasing needed parts and supplies for vehicle repairs. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the timeliness of vehicle repairs and customer satisfaction. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a career, not just a job.

What you'll do:
Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
Answer phone calls and provide price quotes and other information as requested.
Pull and fills orders from stock.
Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
Notify the service advisor and/or the customer when ordered parts have been received.
Replenish assigned inventory daily.
Help with deliveries at needed.
Double check bin counts and keep department organized
All other duties as assigned.

Requirements What We Expect:
Maintain a valid Georgia driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Submit to a background and drug screen
Previous experience working with customers
Be able to multitask with a positive attitude
Excellent communication & computer skills
Have the ability to lift up to 70 pounds by yourself
Previous work experience in a dealership parts department or at a parts store is a plus
Working Environment & Physical Demands Duties are performed throughout the dealer premises, both indoors and outdoors. Work includes frequent movement around the company facilities and the outdoor car lot to move vehicles. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and is frequently required to stand, walk and sit. The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts will include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
