Job Description
ProspectBlue has partnered with a reputable law firm in Richmond, VA and is seeking an experienced Residential Real Estate Paralegal. The position requires a highly skilled individual with a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, strong computer skills, and the ability to work and interact with a variety of people from all backgrounds. The position is on-site at the firm office, and the work schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:30pm.
About the role Our Real Estate Paralegals support our attorneys by performing a variety of duties, including:
Communicating with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, title companies, and municipalities to obtain information for residential closings
Processing and transmitting completed documentation to lenders
Meeting with clients and residential real estate professionals
Coordinating with attorneys to conduct real estate transactions quickly and accurately to provide excellent experiences for clients
Desired Qualifications
Customer Service Focused Individual - Team player
1-2 years of residential real estate closing experience
Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Word, Outlook, Excel
Performs job duties while maintaining a high level of customer service
Completes work and solves problems by utilizing training, tools, reports, and analytical skills
Pro-active, takes initiative, and excellent follow-through skills
Ability to work on multiple deadline-driven tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to convey information effectively and accurately both verbally and written
Professional manner and appearance
