office for a full-time, experienced

KEY CONTRIBUTIONS
Review and analyze abstract and title documents in order to assist in preparation for commercial real estate closings
Review loan documents from lenders for the purpose of preparing commercial real estate closings
Draft closing disclosures, deeds, affidavits, legal descriptions, HUD, and other required closing documents
Establish, organize and maintain files, closing documents, document binders, and lists
Prorate taxes and other property assessments
Conduct research and locate tax information, zoning, development regulations, and other information
Assist in the preparation of closings by preparing executable closing documents, disbursement requests, and correspondence
Serve as a liaison between clients, realtors, lenders, abstractors, title underwriter, and attorney
Maintain and balance incoming and outgoing closing funds
Other responsibilities as needed
THE ESSENTIALS
A bachelor’s degree, paralegal degree or certification, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
At least three years of experience in real estate transactions is required
Proficiency in Qualia preferred; MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
Highly organized, detail-orientated, proactive with a desire to take ownership as a contributing member of the team.
Balance competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, exercising patience and professionalism during stressful situations
Strong communication and drafting skills
Must work well in a collaborative legal team environment
Some overtime may be required
