Sales Manager

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new business development, expanding distribution channels, and managing strategic relationships within vending, convenience, and independent retail segments.

Key Activities

Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities across vending operators, convenience store chains, and independent distributors

Develop and execute territory growth strategies to expand market presence

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects

Establish and manage relationships with regional distributors and DSD partners

Support partners with product positioning, pricing strategies, and sell-through initiatives

Ensure consistent product placement, replenishment, and account growth

Increase product penetration across vending, foodservice, and independent retail channels

Identify and capitalize on underserved markets and white space opportunities

Partner with internal teams, including operations and marketing, to support customer needs

Assist in the execution of promotional programs and pricing initiatives

Achieve and exceed territory sales targets, volume goals, and revenue objectives

Track sales activity, pipeline progress, and key performance metrics using CRM tools

Provide regular reporting and market feedback to leadership.

Preferred Skills

Strong hunter mentality with demonstrated ability to open new accounts.

Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.

Ability to sell value and margin in a competitive market.

Educations & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

5–10+ years of sales experience within beverage, foodservice, or CPG industries.

Proven track record of new business development and territory growth.
