Job Description The Ad Sales Finance Manager for Sports Digital & Streaming will support core ad sales finance processes for the rapidly growing Sports streaming business, primarily supporting the NBA on NBC & Peacock, recently re-launched NBCSN channel, and our diverse portfolio of Golf rights across NBC, Peacock and Golf Channel. The role will provide business support to Peacock for our full portfolio of Sports rights.

This role will provide ongoing support to the Senior Manager of Sports Digital & Streaming in fundamental reporting and analysis related to NBA, WNBA, PGA and Golf Majors along with the Olympics

Ownership of Sales reporting and metric analysis

Support revenue forecasting process (budget, long range plan, estimates)

Research drivers of key variances and trends

Improve depth of existing reporting to provide better analytical tools for both Finance and Sales teams

Leverage best practices with peers to develop consistent processes for the entire Digital Portfolio

Execute routine postmortem analysis, sports rights valuations, and ad hoc historical requests

Manage the re-launched NBCSN network, owning ad revenue reporting & distribution rollout analysis

Ownership of weekly Sales reporting of DAI enabled endpoints

End to end ownership of revenue forecasting process (budget, long range plan, estimates)

Partner with Channel and Distribution leadership to perform distribution expansion analysis

Support Sports Digital & Streaming Sales and Finance teams on broader portfolio reporting and analysis for the full portfolio of sports rights across NBC Sports and Peacock, including working cross-functionally with Linear and Planning groups on Video, Social and Sponsorship reporting and recognition

Manage Versant Sports reporting & analysis, supporting our broader sales agreement with the new company, overseeing reporting for USA Sports, Golf Channel and CNBC Sports

Ownership of Sales reporting (monthly, quarterly)

Manage Versant Sports digital ledger, including billing reconciliation and accruals

Gain in-depth knowledge of all Sales & Finance systems used for reporting (SAP, Operative, Salesforce, Business Intelligence, etc.)

Develop expertise in Sports streaming ad market trends, growth, and competition

Qualifications

Four-year degree (B.A., B.S.) at an accredited college or university

5+ years of finance experience

Prior experience in a finance role supporting an ad sales function within a media, entertainment, or digital content company highly desired

Demonstrated analytical strength and process mindset; ability to identify and resolve key issues quickly

Thorough knowledge and experience with SAP, Microsoft Suite

Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with accuracy

Proven team play with the ability to take on different assignments/projects in a timely manner

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Demonstrated leadership skills, especially ability to influence and lead change in cross-functional teams

High energy and ability to multi-task under pressure

Eligibility Requirements

Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice

Hybrid:

This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
