Territory Sales Specialist – Outdoor & Hardscape Solutions
Location:
Greater Pottstown, PA Area (Candidates should be based within ~30 miles)
Compensation:
Base up to $80K + uncapped commission
Travel:
Local territory travel with occasional overnight trips
Overview We’re working with a growing supplier in the building materials space that supports contractors and residential construction professionals across the region. This role is focused on expanding business within the
hardscape and outdoor living product category .
The ideal candidate brings
hands‑on knowledge of hardscape products
and understands how to sell into contractor and project‑based environments.
What You’ll Do This is a field‑based sales role where you’ll manage an existing book of business while actively building new relationships within your territory.
Develop new business with contractors, landscapers, and builders
Strengthen relationships with current customers to drive repeat business
Position hardscape and outdoor product solutions based on customer needs
Provide product guidance, including occasional onsite support or walkthroughs
Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth order flow and delivery coordination
Generate quotes and assist customers with product selection
Stay engaged with new product offerings and industry developments
Track activity, pipeline, and customer interactions through CRM tools
Participate in customer events, trainings, and occasional after‑hours functions
Own your territory strategy and contribute to overall revenue growth
What We’re Looking For Required:
Background in hardscape products or closely related outdoor building materials (required)
Experience selling into contractor or construction‑related markets
Ability to build trust and credibility with customers in the field
Strong communication and follow‑through
Preferred:
Prior outside sales experience
