Position Overview The Manager, Data & AI Enablement is a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving data-informed decision-making and enabling AI-driven solutions across a global commercial organization. The manager heads a team of analysts and data engineers to deliver insights, automation, and scalable solutions that accelerate commercial growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate combines commercial and service domain expertise, technical fluency, and people leadership.
This position reports to the Director — Global Analytics & Master Data as part of a Global Commercial Operations function. This role is remote, based in the USA or Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of analysts and engineers, fostering accountability, innovation, and professional development.
Shape and execute the roadmap for digital transformation, leveraging data and AI to enable commercial growth and service excellence.
Ensure delivery of robust reporting, dashboards, and automation tools in partnership with Analytics & BI teams.
Coach the team to translate complex business needs into technical requirements, ensuring alignment between stakeholders and technical teams.
Champion and lead process mapping and improvement initiatives across commercial & service workflows/systems to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
Serve as a strategic advisor to commercial and service leadership, providing analytical guidance and influencing decisions that drive measurable impact.
Elevate data literacy across the global organization through education, enablement, and advocacy for data-driven decision-making.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
7+ years in commercial operations, service operations, business analysis, or data analytics.
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Strong understanding of commercial and service operations and their interdependencies.
Expertise in systems thinking and holistic data analysis.
Proficiency in BI tools and advanced analytics frameworks.
Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and practical application for business use cases.
Preferred Experience
2+ years in a leadership role, ideally with global or cross-cultural teams.
Experience with enterprise platforms (SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Azure).
Advanced Power BI, SQL, or Python skills.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement frameworks.
Exposure to RPA tools (UIPath, Power Automate, Zapier).
Experience in regulated industries (medical device, healthcare technology).
Master’s degree in Business, Analytics, or related field.
Travel Requirements Approximately 20-30%, depending on initiatives & priorities, as this role will support a global commercial & service organization.
Compensation & Benefits The annual salary range for this role is $120,000 – $150,000. This role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
