Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Washington, DC, for a Hotel Senior Sales Manager specializing in the Corporate and SMERF (Social, Military, Educational, Religious, and Fraternal) markets. The Senior Sales Manager will oversee sales strategies, cultivate and maintain client relationships, and identify new business opportunities to achieve revenue goals. Day-to-day tasks will include managing the sales pipeline, developing marketing initiatives, conducting sales presentations, and representing the hotel at industry events. The role also requires close collaboration with internal teams to ensure successful execution of client events and guest experiences.
Qualifications
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively liaise with clients, guests, and internal teams
Proven expertise in Sales and Sales Management, with a focus on achieving revenue goals and managing accounts
Knowledge or experience in Marketing, including the development of strategies to attract and retain clients
Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills to build and nurture customer relationships
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts and responsibilities effectively
Prior experience in hospitality or knowledge of corporate and SMERF markets is highly advantageous
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Proficiency in using sales and CRM software
