Job Summary / Description If you’re a successful LSM or DSM and ready to move to the next level, this is a fantastic opportunity to earn your MSM stripe. The ideal candidate should be results‑driven with a history of setting and achieving sales budgets on broadcast and digital platforms. You should have a strong business‑focused mindset, be great with time management, and organizational skills that lead to good business decisions and problem‑solving.
Duties / Responsibilities
Setting revenue goals and creating a plan(s) to reach those goals.
Building and managing a high‑performance and successful sales team.
Understand the Meridian market to create dynamic broadcast and digital sales initiatives.
Manage and price inventory, forecast revenue, and create sales reports.
Strong communication skills with good follow‑through and work ethic.
Build relationships with clients and ad agencies.
Accompany the team on sales calls. Train and motivate both youthful and veteran staff.
Qualifications / Requirements
Organized with acute attention to detail and follow‑through.
Strong computer skills, with experience with Wide Orbit and Matrix, and Microsoft Office products preferred.
Time management.
Acute negotiation and closing skills.
College degree preferred.
Must meet the Gray Television driving requirements and have a valid driver’s license.
