Job Description The Loan Operations Representative IV performs various administrative tasks involved in servicing Loans.

Depth & Scope

Performs highly complex or non-routine administrative tasks exercising significant judgment and discretion in the performance of duties usually in support of a single unit or team within Loan Operations

Tasks are performed independently with limited supervision and review; Tasks may include research, processing incoming mail, Customer service and contact, and external agency contact; Provides information and procedural knowledge for less experienced staff

Performs research on suspicious items and reports findings to appropriate resource to help prevent fraudulent activities

Makes entries in general ledger related to paperwork and information processed

Approves and reviews general ledger entries and/or invoices for accuracy and completeness

Provides input and assistance to management in developing and maintaining budget

Identifies, audits, investigates, and rectifies departmental discrepancies

Reviews work and provides information and procedural knowledge to less experienced staff

Provides the primary leadership of a unit or team within Loan Operations including input to performance management, coaching, and guidance to team members

Responds to the most complex inquiries and issues from Customers and internal units; Researches information to provide responses and resolution

Contacts Customers to explain items affecting their accounts

Follows up with branches and other units to resolve discrepancies and Customer issues

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED

3+ years related experience

Proven knowledge of Loan Operations policies and procedures as well as related agency regulations

Proven computer literacy and proficiency in common PC applications

Proven attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload to meet unit objectives

Proven ability to provide guidance to others, clarifying complex policies and procedures and facilitating knowledge-sharing in the work group is required

Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written and verbal skills

Must possess strong analytical and administrative abilities
