Senior Commissioning Agent
to support a growing portfolio of existing building and new construction projects. This role will lead and support commissioning efforts focused on multifamily housing. You will work closely with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure building systems are installed, tested, and operating as intended. In addition to commissioning work, this role will contribute to measurement and verification (M&V) efforts, including data collection, system analysis, and performance evaluation. This is an opportunity to be involved in projects that support building performance, electrification, and decarbonization goals.
Key Tasks
Lead commissioning activities across multiple projects, primarily in multifamily and institutional buildings
Stay current with evolving technologies, codes, and industry best practices
Review technical work and documentation for quality and accuracy
Support system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution during construction and post‑installation phases
Develop commissioning plans, reports, and project documentation
Coordinate with project teams including engineers, contractors, and owners
Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget
Support business development efforts, including proposal development and RFP responses
Participate in measurement and verification (M&V) projects, including data collection planning, equipment coordination, analysis, and reporting
Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and project stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications
Existing Building Commissioning Professional (EBCP), Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP), or Professional Engineer (PE)
Experience with measurement and verification (M&V) planning, data collection, and analysis
Familiarity with BAS systems, diagnostic tools, and building performance software
Experience working with multifamily buildings or existing building retrofit projects
Skills and Attributes
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and deliverables
Comfortable working with data and translating findings into clear insights
Interest in mentoring or supporting junior staff
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Additional Requirements
Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Willingness to travel to job sites, some overnight travel required.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $73,000–$110,000
401(k) with 6% company match
