Job Title: Finish Carpenter
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. In this role, you will complete high‑quality interior and exterior finish work for residential or modular construction projects. You will work from drawings and specifications to install detailed carpentry components while ensuring precision, craftsmanship, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Install finish carpentry components including trim, doors, cabinets, baseboards, moldings, and fixtures
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate layout and installation
Perform precise measuring, cutting, and fitting to achieve high‑quality finishes
Operate hand and power tools safely while maintaining an organized and clean work area
Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to meet production schedules and quality expectations
Ensure all work meets building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards
Essential Skills
3+ years of finish carpentry experience in residential or modular construction
Strong knowledge of finish carpentry techniques, materials, and installation methods
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Proficiency with finish carpentry tools such as saws, nail guns, levels, and measuring devices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Journeyman‑level finish carpenter experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
Experience working in a manufacturing or modular construction environment is a plus
Work Environment Manufacturing construction environment with shifts Monday through Friday, 6am - 2:30pm or 2pm - 10:30pm Shift.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
