Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Automotive Body Technician role based in Lewiston, ID. The Automotive Body Technician will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicle bodies to manufacturer specifications. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing damage, performing necessary repairs and replacements, sanding, painting, and ensuring quality control on finished vehicles. The Technician will also maintain accurate records of work performed, adhere to safety standards, and collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications Proficiency in Auto Body Repair, including dent repair, body panel replacement, and structural alignment Knowledge of Paint Application Techniques, such as mixing, color matching, and painting Experience with Diagnostic Tools and Repair Equipment for assessing and fixing vehicle damage Attention to Detail and the ability to ensure high-quality craftsmanship Understanding of Safety Standards and Procedures to maintain a safe work environment Good Communication and Teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with coworkers High School Diploma or equivalent; formal training or certification in automotive body repair is a plus Previous work experience in a similar role is highly desirable
