We are seeking a results-driven Sales and Business Development professional specializing in Logistics and International Freight Forwarding. This role is key to expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth across our international logistics services. The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding and customs brokerage, with a demonstrated ability to develop new business and manage lasting client relationships.
This position requires a strategic thinker with deep knowledge of global logistics who thrives on building relationships and closing deals. You will work closely with cross-functional sales and operations teams to identify opportunities, deliver tailored logistics solutions, and help position us as a preferred partner in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted market research, networking, and lead generation activities.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing solutions that address their international logistics and supply chain needs.
Collaborate with internal teams and management to develop effective sales strategies that drive lead conversion and customer retention.
Present and promote the company’s full suite of services, including
customs brokerage ,
ocean (80%) and air (20%) freight forwarding , and other logistics solutions.
Negotiate and close contracts with new and existing clients to secure profitable partnerships.
Provide ongoing support and account management to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of
8 years of sales or business development experience
in the
freight forwarding and customs brokerage industry .
Proven track record of securing and growing accounts in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain sectors.
Strong knowledge of international logistics, freight pricing, shipping routes, and global trade compliance.
Experience in
customs brokerage regulations and documentation requirements
is a plus.
Demonstrated success in identifying and closing new business opportunities.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently or collaboratively to achieve sales targets.
Proficient in using
CRM systems
and other sales management tools for tracking activities and reporting progress.
Fluent in English, bilingual in Mandarin or Cantonese a plus.
