Responsibilities
Pitching, writing, producing, and curating engaging travel content of interest to our US audience
Covering trending destinations, viral travel moments, and breaking travel news
Writing destination guides, hotel roundups, and service-led travel content
Assisting with research, story building, and sourcing across travel features
Delivering clean, engaging copy while working under tight deadlines
Identifying emerging travel trends across social media and search
Monitoring analytics and learning how to optimize stories for performance
Qualifications
Passion for the Daily Mail brand, its editorial voice, and global audience
1–2 years of experience in journalism
Ability to work under deadline pressure in a fast-paced newsroom
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interest in travel, lifestyle trends, and digital media
Strong understanding of SEO and digital publishing
Strong communication skills and eagerness to collaborate with team members
We offer a competitive salary package in the range of $70,000 - $80,000 depending on experience, excellent staff benefits (healthcare, optical, dental, 401K) and a generous PTO
