Role Overview
Gameday Social is expanding our Independent Sales Representative force to represent the brand across numerous territories and retail segments, focusing on driving sales growth, securing new accounts, and maintaining strong relationships with retail partners. This role blends entrepreneurial independence with collaboration across our internal sales, operations, and compliance teams to ensure brand consistency and licensing integrity.
Key Responsibilities 1. Territory Development & Sales Growth Independently build, manage, and grow a defined territory or retail segment.
Prospect and secure new retail partnerships that align with Gameday Social’s brand and licensing portfolio.
Expand business with existing accounts through seasonal bookings, reorders, and market insights.
Create and execute territory sales plans designed to meet or exceed annual revenue goals.
Represent Gameday Social at trade shows, regional markets, and in-person buyer appointments.
2. Prospecting & Lead Generation Identify and qualify new opportunities within the collegiate, lifestyle, and pro-sports retail channels.
Proactively research target accounts, develop introductions, and manage outreach follow-ups.
Leverage brand assets, lookbooks, and samples to pitch the line with confidence and close sales.
Maintain awareness of competitor activity and regional trends to inform your sales approach.
3. Account Relationships & Brand Representation Serve as the external face of Gameday Social within your market, promoting the brand story and product line.
Develop deep relationships with key buyers, store owners, and showroom teams.
Ensure brand presentation in stores aligns with Gameday Social’s standards for quality and image.
Advocate for your territory’s needs and communicate feedback from the field to leadership.
4. Order Management & Follow-Through Manage all order submissions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness through the company’s systems or EDI as applicable.
Track order flow and proactively communicate potential fulfillment or delivery challenges.
Partner with internal operations only as necessary to resolve escalated issues.
Assist with receivables follow-up on your accounts when needed.
5. Market Participation & Reporting Attend national and regional trade shows, markets, and sales meetings as scheduled.
Provide concise weekly or monthly territory recaps outlining wins, pipeline updates, and key market feedback.
Maintain accurate account and contact data within the CRM for visibility and planning purposes.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience in B2B apparel or consumer goods sales (independent representation preferred).
Proven success in developing and managing retail buyer relationships.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Zoho, or equivalent).
Knowledge of retailer compliance processes (EDI, routing guides, etc.) is a plus.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
Ability to travel as needed

Contractor Details:
Independent contractor position (commission-based).
Flexible schedule with access to seasonal product training and company support resources.
Territory and account assignments will be determined based on experience and market opportunity.
Representatives will be responsible for their own tradeshow booth and travel expenses, but the Company may provide a travel stipend for key account activities.
Anticipated annual commission ranges from $40,000 to $150,000, depending on breadth of accounts.
