ITW Deltar Fasteners is a large division within the Automotive Segment and serves all the major OEMs and their tier suppliers with plastic fasteners. Locations include: Frankfort, IL; Chippewa Falls, WI and our Commercial Sales and Engineering in Troy, MI.

Position Summary The Sales Coordinator reports to the Sales Manager and assists engineers and sales with all aspects of project management and overall customer service.
Primary Responsibilities
Interact with ITW management, sales professionals and multiple global ITW Plant Operations related to quotes using the ITW Quote Database software.
Sales responsibilities involve working directly with customer engineering and purchasing personnel:
Sell products which involve part searches.
Interact with ITW engineering.
Submit test data requests and responses.
Negotiate final price.
Write sales reports.
Project management responsibilities as the central point of contact for the customer:
Maintain bill of materials, assign part numbers, obtain quotes and create sales literature.
Work with operations and sales from all ITW North America divisions to ensure initial set‑up and spot buy orders and payment.
Maintain forecast database using SAPHRAN software and review and sign off purchase orders for accuracy against quotes, resolving anomalies with management.
Responsible for tool cost recovery from the customer, ensuring all tool purchase orders and expenditures are recorded correctly and renegotiated with customer accounting and purchase management when necessary.
Interface between operations and sales for any customer requirements, including forms, packaging data requests, MSDS and supplier surveys.
Understand and draft Annual Plan / Long‑Range Plan documents for presentation to the Commercial Leader.
Maintain database of current open project activity for sales professionals.
Perform shared general office administrative duties as needed.
Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Provide the Sales Manager with quarterly updates for Premium Tiers (Revenue, New Business, Quote Activity & Forecast).
Required Skills
Minimum four‑year college degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Ability to interact with customers who are often senior purchase contacts and engineering professionals and co‑workers on a global level.
Some travel is required.
Elevated proficiency within the Office 2007 software package, especially PowerPoint presentations and Excel formulas with linked spreadsheets.
High‑level customer interaction skill set.
Ability to multi‑task while maintaining utmost accuracy.
Exercise discretion and independent judgment; flexibility to adapt to global conditions such as currencies, language barriers and work hours related to time‑zone differences, often requiring work during non‑office hours for Asia.
Project management skills.
Customer service and good communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
