What you will do: The right person listens to understand customer needs, probes to recognize opportunities, solves problems and recommends solutions. The candidate we are looking for must have passion for customer focus and service understanding to promote the Johnson Controls value proposition to building owners / facilities and information technology (IT) leaders. You will build and develop long term customer relationships/partnerships with assigned accounts by providing busine ss and technical solutions which includes renewable service agreements and labor & material solutions. These will serve as a foundation of managing and building your book of business in a defined region and specific account relationships. To be successful, you will execute the sales process and cultivate growth by managing long-term relationships and identifying, qualifying, nurturing, and closing new sales opportunities with your customers.
How you will do it
You will be responsible for generating service sales opportunities via phone, email, and social leads.
Starting from a defined Customer list, you will promote the Johnson Controls service value proposition to building owners, facilities managers, and IT managers.
Interacting with your customers daily, you will identify and offer appropriate solutions or hand-off any qualified leads for opportunities outside of your scope to outside sales partners.
You will be responsible for generating secured orders and margin, through service product selection assistance and generating quotes and proposals to solve for your customers’ needs.
What we look for:
0-2 years of Inside sales, telemarketing selling, or business experience
Undergraduate degree (preferred) or 2-year degree & relevant experience
Proficiency with MS Office programs (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), internet software and e-mail
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
A high level of integrity, and resilient temperament
Preferred
2 - 4 years of Inside sales, telemarketing selling experience or business experience at a product company
Track record of over-achieving goals.
Demonstrated ability to influence account decision makers at key levels.
Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls (45-60 on average) per day
Experience working with a CRM database.
Ability to rapidly build knowledge of Johnson Control’s product lines.
Experience in the Fire/controls industry is highly preferred.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE $18.31 - $30 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
