Role Description
Sun Key is seeking an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in equipment financing and a strong drive to succeed. We’re seeking someone who can drive immediate sales impact and help build the foundation of a growing company. Those who contribute early and take ownership will have meaningful opportunities to advance as the organization expands. This person will have prior experience in equipment financing across industries such as construction, transportation, manufacturing, agriculture, or medical, and currently originate $10 million+ in annual deal volume with a transferrable book of business. This is an independent contractor position. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with direct customers and referral sources through in-person meetings, phone calls, email, social media, and other channels. Key responsibilities include: Identifying and developing new business opportunities Negotiating and closing deals Leveraging your existing book of business At Sun Key, you’ll gain access to dozens of industry-leading lenders, including top banks and independents, giving you an unparalleled competitive advantage. Previous experience working in a full commission environment Previous experience in equipment finance Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills Demonstrated ability to be results-oriented and self-motivated Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent+ preferred Ability to work independently and remotely Proven track record of success in business development or sales
