Residential Drain Solutions Consultant

The Big Task:

As a Drain Sales Specialist, you will serve as a trusted advisor to our customers by evaluating residential drain and plumbing systems and delivering tailored solutions that meet their needs. You’ll provide clear, professional recommendations for maintenance, repair, or replacement, empowering homeowners to make confident decisions about their home.

In this role, strong communication and attention to detail are critical. You will ensure all findings, recommendations, and sales are documented accurately and shared promptly with both the customer and our internal team.

Key Tasks:

Evaluate residential sanitary sewers, storm sewers, sump systems, underground drain systems. Become an expert in our solutions that include but are not limited to drain cleaning, jetting, maxi-miller, pipe patching, inversion pipe lining, pull in place pipe lining, pipe bursting, excavations, sump pumps, water back-up sump pumps, dry wells, underfloor piping systems including storm and house traps, and water piping systems Become an expert in our financing programs and offering financing solutions to our customers Provide customers applicable solutions that cover maintenance, repair, and replacement Become an expert in helping our customers decide what solution best meets their wants and/or needs Secure deposit or payment for sales made Accurately communicate all job notes, solutions, and sales to the customer and office as required and in a timely fashion Proactively inform our customers of our HCC program benefits with the intent of obtaining their approval to enroll them in the program Ensure that the solution was customer approved was delivered and the customer’s expectations were exceeded Earn and ask for referrals and 5-star on-line reviews Use drop cloths and wear shoe coverings; ensure that you leave the job sites cleaner than you found them Clean and maintain diagnostic camera tool and locating equipment Adhere to OSHA and Thornton & Grooms Safety processes and policies Actively participate in training exercises and team meetings

KPI Expectations and Action Items:

Convert a minimum of 60% of your opportunities Maintain an average sale of $6,000 Maintain and average NPS score of 9.3 Uphold, support, and engage in our purpose and core values

Desired Skills & Experience

Proven successful sales record Previously held accountable for sales metrics and or KPIs Ability to work a 100% commission role Possess exceptional follow-through abilities Highly organized Have strong, effective communication skills High School Diploma or GED equivalence

Requirements:

Ability to pass prescreening requirements: Clear 9-panel drug test, background check, and a clean motor vehicle report for the past three years
