Job Description
MITER Brands™ is a residential window and door manufacturer that provides a leading portfolio of window and door brands for the new construction and replacement segments. MITER Brands, also known as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors and Western Window Systems, is one of the nation’s largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors and aluminum windows and doors, with plants across the country.
Position Details We are looking for an Architectural Sales Representative for our Los Angeles, California territory. In this role you will be responsible for selling products to architects, general contractors, designers, and developers, building long‑term relationships with clients and customers.
Total Compensation Base salary $130,000 – $160,000+ (plus commission) based on experience and qualifications. Additional car allowance.
Responsibilities
Sell architectural products such as windows, doors, and movable walls.
Strategically generate sales leads and increase product sales for the company.
Lead architectural design, guide product selection, and ensure that project specifications align with our offerings.
Travel frequently, meeting with clients and attending trade shows such as the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Construction Specifications Institute (CSI).
Present and provide seminars on existing products and promote new products at trade shows.
Provide excellent customer service to build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients.
Follow up with clients and serve as a technical consultant to ensure customer satisfaction.
Know clients’ services to make appropriate product recommendations; maintain a database of customers and prospects as a tool for outreach.
When experienced, train new employees on company products and lead continuing education classes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline with preferred architectural or construction industry experience.
At least 2 years in a sales or sales‑support role.
Valid Class C Driver’s License.
Up to 75% travel, including overnight stays.
